Tao’s English is absolutely flawless—I would describe it as Cambridge level—which made communication so easy and insightful. But his language skills are just the beginning. What truly sets him apart is his incredible attentiveness. He went above and beyond at every turn, taking care of every detail and nuance to ensure our experience was perfect.
He took us to the most authentic, local places in his own electric car, expertly navigating the city. He would drop us off right at the entrance of a spot and personally walk us into local venues, making us feel like VIPs. Every potential question we had was met with a thorough explanation.

I decided to hire Tao as my guide when I visited Chongqing because there was so much I wanted to see and trusted he would be the way to see and experience all Chongqing had to offer. Hiring a guide saved so much time, frustration and money by having access to quick and accurate transportation, a personal translator when it came to securing tickets to events and buying souvenirs, and visiting as many places we could in the time I had in the city. I not only got to see so many popular sights, landmarks and events in the city, but also was able to get premium tickets to see 1949 (which I highly recommend). Tao is also a great driver, has an extremely clean vehicle and provides water for your trips. Going to Wulong 3 Natural Bridges and Longshuixia Fissure was an experience of a lifetime to see the natural beauty of Asia, which I decided to add to my guide package during my visit. Tao is not only knowledgeable about the history of Chongqing, but his enthusiasm and love for his home city makes the touring exciting and educational the entire day. The value I received for what I paid for the guide service was above and beyond what I expected.
